Entering on Fourth Avenue a visitor has the opportunity to take note of the beautiful bronze doors of the church. The main entrance has two single doors and one double. The transepts are entered through two pairs of double doors. Each door contains a small stained glass window, without design, to admit light and provide for visibility. These doors, recently stripped of years of dirt and paint and re-hung, provide an elegant first sight to visitors.
