Saint Anselm Parishioners Honored by the
Bay Ridge Community Council
On Tuesday, February 25th the Bay Ridge Community Council presented its Hidden Treasurers Awards for 2014 in the community room of Shore Hill Residence. Among the honorees were three parishioners of Saint Anselm: Georgette S. Maione, Mary Francis (Pam) Pazarecki, and Jeanine DeLuca Condon. The Saint Anselm Catholic Academy Home School Association, one of the member organizations of the Council, nominated the three ladies for the honor.
The Hidden Treasures Awards, celebrating its tenth year, recognizes individuals whose volunteer service has contributed to both their own organizations and the Bay Ridge community.
Presenting the Awards were Rene Dorsa, president of the Bay Ridge Community Council and Alexander Conti and Peter Scarpa, Chairs of the Civic Affairs Committee of the Council. Also at the evening’s celebration were James McHugh, Chairman of the Board of Saint Anselm Catholic Academy and Jim McKeon, principal of the Academy.
