Artists of all ages converged upon the McMahon Auditorium & Meletia Hall at St. Anselm Catholic Academy on Sunday, December 4th to create majestic wreaths, centerpieces and small table trees to brighten their homes for Christmas. The annual event, which is sponsored by the Youth Activities Program, is popular with families and friends who return year after year to make lovely decorations and fun memories, while happily chatting and busily working on their projects.
The wonderful SACA “elves” were present to ensure the artists had all they needed. There were even beautiful ornaments and bows for sale to add that additional touch! A lovely St. Anselm Christmas apron was also available. Finally, a contest to guess the number of candy canes resulted in 2 sweet prizes for the winner – the jar of candy canes and a Christmas apron.
We thank Workshop Chair, Margaret Johnston, and her cheerful “elves” Christine, Kim, Marianne, & Shirley for all their attention to the details that make events such as these so much fun and successful. We would also like to thank the “junior elves” Luke, Chris, Ryan, Caroline, Dylan, Caitlin, Thomas, Isabella, Nicole, & Holden for their help and good cheer. Thank you all! We can’t wait for next year!
All the best,
The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
