December 6 & 7, 2014 – Parish Giving Tree

The Parish Giving Tree

Giving:

1:  to make a present of

2:  to put into the possession of another for his or her use (Merriam-Webster)

3:  St. Anselm Parishioners

Our wonderful Parishioners once again rose to the occasion, showing their generosity and thoughtfulness at this time of the year for those we love and those less fortunate.

In the middle of November Parishioners were invited to take home gift tags for Sr. Regina Corde’s Parish Giving Tree.  On the weekend of December 6th & 7th Parishioners returned with broad smiles and thoughtful gifts for individuals who will now have a much brighter Christmas.  Amazingly, many of these “elves” thanked us for the experience, commenting that they really enjoyed spending time finding a special gift for a person who will greatly appreciate it.   The chorus of “I enjoyed doing this!” was overwhelming.

We are so very grateful for your kindheartedness and generosity during such a busy season.

All the Best,

The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
