June 2016 – SACA 8th Grade Graduation Events

The Graduating Class of 2016 was truly an “Enchanted” one!  On Friday, June 10th, the students enjoyed a dinner dance with the theme of enchantment.  Meletia Hall was transformed into a magical forest with sweets, colorful decorations and cobblestone paths.  If this wasn’t enough, the busy families attended the SACA Awards Breakfast on Sunday, the 12th.The final Graduation event was the commencement, which was held on Friday, June 17th in the church.

SACA Board President John Quaglione noted that the class was composed of 26 success stories.  Eighth grade teacher Mrs. Janet Batista presented the graduates, naming the scholarships and their high school of choice.  Principal James McKeon reminded the grads of the 2 constants in their lives—Faith & Family.  Msgr. Maloney also stressed the constants noting the sacrifice parents made to provide a catholic education for their children and reminding the students that, “This is your house…You are the people of God!”

We would like to thank all the diligent volunteers who worked to make the Graduation events so “Magical” for SACA students and their families.   In addition, we wish the very best to our Grads and look forward to hearing 26 success stories!

All the best,

The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
