Our May 15th Sunday Social, the last social of the academic year, was a very memorable one! In addition to our usual delectables and fun arts & crafts (inchworms, butterflies, turtles, oh my!) there were several other events going on as well. The Young at Heart was on hand to raffle some wonderful items including: a handcrafted jewelry box, a relaxing foot massager, & a beautiful Vera Bradley bag. Tickets to the annual Pastor’s Golf Outing were also being sold. The June 3rd Golf Outing is an important fundraiser for the St. Anselm Youth Activities Program. The SACA Home Academy Association held a used book sale with something for readers of all ages. The culminating event at the Social was the drawing for the 50/50 Raffle. Proceeds from both the Book Sale and the 50/50 Raffle are used to support educational programs at SACA. Thanks to all who participated in these fundraisers.
As always, we are grateful to the many cheerful volunteers who help set-up, serve, and cleanup—we could NEVER have the Socials without your good work. We look forward to greeting all of you again at our first Sunday Social of the 2016-2017 academic year, which will be on September 25th.
