November 22, 2015 – St. Anselm Sunday Social

For the third time this autumn Saint Anselm Parishioners gathered in Meletia Hall of Saint Anselm Catholic Academy to enjoy each other’s company and to catch up on what was new in each other’s lives before the busy holiday season of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year set in.

Parishioners enjoyed coffee, tea, hot chocolate, with optional marshmallows, and a delicious selection of tasty treats. The children, of course, enjoyed hot chocolate, but also helped themselves to apple juice, while sampling the donuts and munchkins.

Youngsters at the Arts and Crafts table took the opportunity to create scratch magic penguins while parents looked on.

The wonderful Saint Anselm Sunday Social volunteers set up, served and cleaned up effortlessly, making for a warm and happy time for parishioners.

In December we look forward to the Advent Tree Lighting (Saturday, December 5th), the Christmas Workshop (Sunday, December 6th), Winter Wonderland and the Parish Giving Tree (Saturday and Sunday, December 12th and 13th), and the Afternoon of Prayer and Song in Preparation for Christmas (Sunday December, 20thsee the bulletin for details

As we say “thanks” at Thanksgiving, we think of all the volunteers, who make these events and so many others throughout the year possible, we are truly grateful for all that you do.

All the Best,

The Saint Anselm Publicity Committee
