SACA Oktoberfest – A Great Time For A Great Cause
On Friday October 23rd more than 60 friends of St. Anselm Catholic Academy (SACA) gathered at PC’s Bar & Grill for an Oktoberfest to remember. There was delicious food such as: pierogies, shepherd’s pie, chicken in brown gravy, pulled pork in apple brown sauce, & of course bratwurst. And if that wasn’t enough there were different pumpkin libations to wet your whistle while putting you in a festive mood. In addition to the good food and grog, partygoers were also supporting a wonderful cause — the proceeds of the evening will be used for SACA programs.
SACA events such as this run smoothly due to the diligence of the committee members. We would like to thank the Oktoberfest committee members:
- Regina McPadden
- Barbara Thomas
- Majella Volk
- Katie Dean
- Michele Soto
for their hard work and dedication in planning yet another successful fundraising event for the benefit of SACA.
As one committee member commented:
“We are always thrilled to raise funds to better our programs. This event is a chance to get together with our St. Anselm community, to eat some yummy food, have some delicious drinks, make some new friends and of course have some great laughs!” Well said.
Please look for flyers in the back of the church for information on future SACA events and join us! And, for more information about the wonderful programs offered at Saint Anselm Catholic Academy – go to www.sacany.org.
All The Best,
