April 30, 2017 – April Sunday Social

After a month that truly brought LOTS OF APRIL SHOWERS!!!, and a few days of summer-like weather, cool spring returned for the last day of April and the parish’s April 30th Sunday Social. Adults gathered in Meletia Hall to enjoy each other’s company as well as the hot coffee or tea. Younger parishioners enjoyed apple juice and hot chocolate with marshmallows, while all enjoyed the scrumptious donuts and munchkins.

Adults chatted and socialized, catching up on each other’s Easter holiday activities. And, young artists set to the task of creating beautiful spring ornamental magnets – coloring and glittering cute little chicks.

A thank you to the co-hosts of the event, the St. Anselm Pastoral Planning Council and Saint Anselm Catholic Academy Grades 2 & 3. A special thank you to the Sunday Social Committee who set-up, served, and cleaned effortlessly: Mary, Tom, Eileen, Peter, Barbara, Suzanne, Josephine, and Bob.

Our next, and last Sunday Social before the summer break, will be on May 21st. It will feature the drawing of the 50/50 raffle to benefit St. Anselm’s Youth Activities and all its wonderful programs for the young people in our parish. Hope to see you there.

All the Best,

The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
