December 3, 2017 – The Christmas Workshop

Artists of all ages converged upon the McMahon Auditorium & Meletia Hall at St. Anselm Catholic Academy on Sunday, December 3rd to create majestic wreaths, centerpieces and small table trees to brighten their homes for Christmas.  The annual event, which is sponsored by the Youth Activities Program, is popular with families and friendswho return year after year to make lovely decorations and fun memories, while happily chatting and busily working on their projects.

The wonderful SACA “elves” were present to ensure the artists had all they needed.  There were even beautiful ornaments and bows for sale to add that additional touch! There was coffee, tea and cookies to warm the spirits, a raffle basket of “spirits”, a 50/50 raffle, and a contest to guess the number of M&M’s in a jar—with the winner receiving a Christmas apron and the sweets!

We thank Workshop Chair, Margaret Johnston, and her cheerful “elves” Anne, Christine, Katie, Kim, Marianne, Regina & Shirley for all their attention to the details that make events such as these so much fun and successful.  We would also like to thank the “junior elves” Alanna, Caroline, Gianna, Samantha, Brian, Caedmon, Luke & Peter for their help and good cheer.  Thank you all!  We can’t wait for next year!

All the best,
