Catholic Schools Week at St. Anselm Catholic Academy (SACA), kicked off with a Sunday Social and “educational fair” highlighting the unique educational experience offered by SACA. The auditorium was a showplace for all the wonderful learning and activities SACA has to offer students and families–with a video, poster boards and essays highlighting what makes SACA so special. Principal McKeon, faculty, parents and students were on hand to answer questions and provide tours of the academy.
Additional events continued during the week with a “Young at Heart Valentine Celebration”, an Open House for parents and prospective parents, a special visit from Bishop Neil Tiedemann and Brother Ralph Darmento, Sports Day, a Crazy Sock/Dress Down Day, a Luncheon to thank Veterans and First Responders, and a “Tea” for the Grandparents of children in Pre-K-3, UPK, Kindergarten and First Grade. A marvelous time was truly had by all! The week concluded with a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast and First Friday Mass. There was even a “Pot Luck Wingo” event Friday evening. What a way to end a fabulous week!
A heartfelt thanks to Principal James McKeon, the SACA teachers & staff, parents, and the student volunteers for a job well done! The thought and planning (not to mention the hard work) that went into each event made for a wonderful, informative, and memorable week. We would also like to thank our Parish Priests: Msgr. Maloney, Msgr. Phillips, Fr. Kull, and Fr. Stephen for their continued commitment to Catholic Education. All the best,
