On Saturday, June 3rd, the Father’s Club of St. Anselm Catholic Academy (SACA) hosted a wonderful end of year celebration – their annual Bar-B-Q Fundraiser!
The courtyard space between the church and the academy was filled with happy children and parents gathered to enjoy each other’s company, great food and to just simply have a good time. While the adults talked about the soon to be concluded school year and their plans for the summer, the children played with brightly colored toys, had their faces painted, and did what children always do – have fun. Hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob and delicious salads were the order of the day.
Toward the end of the evening, newly ordained Fr. Szymon, his family and the priests of St. Anselm came by for a most welcome surprise visit.
“Thank you” to the members of the Fathers’ Club, and its president – Mark D’Addona, for hosting this wonderful, fun-filled joyous event each year, and for all they do for the Academy throughout the year. This fundraiser, along with numerous others held by the Academy’s dads and moms help to support the outstanding educational programs offered by St. Anselm Catholic Academy, enriching the development of the children of St. Anselm’s.

All the best,
