May 21, 2017 – May Sunday Social

Our last Sunday Social of the School year was held in McMahon Auditorium on May 21st and it was a blast!  In addition to the usual delicious fun and fare, there was:  arts & crafts for our young artists, a 50/50 drawing to benefit the St. Anselm Parish Youth Activities Program, raffle prize baskets sponsored by the Young at Heart Arts & Crafts Club, and even a used book sale for those looking to stock up on books for their summer reading.  The Social was also enjoyed by many of the children who had just received First Communion and their families – congratulations to them. There truly was something for everyone!

Thanks to all our volunteers:  Anne & Michele from Youth Activities, Eileen, Michele & Noreen, for assisting at the book sale; and Linda, Anna, Helen, & Ann for hosting a great raffle with lovely prize baskets; and our Sunday Social volunteers: Barbara, Bob, Eileen, Josephine, Lynne, Mary, Nancy, Pat, Peter, Suzanne, & Tom.  A special thanks as well to our junior helpers who assisted Msgr. Maloney with the raffles.  And finally, we thank our pastor, Msgr. Maloney for supporting our many parish events.

We wish you all a fantastic summer and look forward to seeing you at our next Sunday Social in September.  We also have more exciting events in store, so please refer to the weekly bulletin, vestibule flyers, and our website: stanselmbayridge.org for more information.

All the best,
