December 2, 2018 – Christmas Workshop 2018

Artists of all ages converged upon the McMahon Auditorium & Meletia Hall at St. Anselm Catholic Academy on Sunday, December 2nd to create majestic wreaths, centerpieces and table-top trees to brighten their homes for Christmas.  The annual event, which is sponsored by the Youth Activities Program, is popular with families and friends who return year after year to make lovely decorations and fun memories, while happily chatting and busily working on their projects.

The wonderful SACA “elves” were present to ensure the artists had all they needed.  There were even beautiful ornaments and bows for sale to add that additional touch! There was coffee, tea and cookies to warm the spirits; a raffle basket containing a 2019 Workshop registration and apron and decorations for next year’s creation; and a contest to guess the number of M&M’s in a jar—with the winner receiving a Gingerbread House Kit and the sweet treats!

We thank Workshop Chair, Margaret Johnston, and her cheerful “elves” Adele, Christine, Eileen J., Jack, Kim, Regina, Seamus, Shirley and Eileen W. for their attention to the details that make events such as these successful and so much fun.  We would also like to thank the “junior elves” Alanna, Caroline, Grace, John and Luke for their help and good cheer.  Thank you all!  We can’t wait for next year!

All the best,

The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
