December 9th & 10th, 2018 – Parish Giving Tree

We Thank You for Your Kindness

You came bearing gifts with smiles on your faces to benefit friends from six different places.  Tots, teens, and adults send their thanks to you.  And the St. Anselm Elves are most grateful too! – The Elves

Parishioners chose gift tags the weekend before Thanksgiving and returned December 8th & 9th with gifts galore for our Parish Giving Tree!  The presents they so carefully chose will enrich the lives of children in our Parish and those assisted by Catholic Charities, NYU (Lutheran) Family Support Center, & the Hispanic Counseling Center.  Parents and children’s lives will be brightened by their donations to “Hour Children” an organization which helps families make a fresh start.  Finally, donations to Mercy Home will provide special needs adults with very special gifts.   Thank you for taking the time to reach out and let the less fortunate know that there is someone who remembers them during this busy season.  We are most grateful for your generosity, thoughtfulness & goodwill towards others.

We thank Deacon Tom Davis for his guidance and Msgr. Maloney for his support and for allowing us to transform the Rosary Chapel into the “Giving Tree” for one very special weekend.  Thanks also to our “Elves” (Ann, Barbara, Bernadette, Bob, Cono, Elizabeth, Joe, Jonathan, Linda, Mary Jane, Peter & Eileen) for all their help.  It could never happen without you!

All the very merry best,

The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
