What an exciting time for the SACA graduating class of 2019! The celebrations began on Friday, June 7th with an award ceremony and dinner dance at Sirico’s where the grads, family members and guests enjoyed great food and music. After a day of rest, the families attended a Mass and Social for the graduates on Sunday, June 9th. The culminating event was the commencement, which was held on Friday, June 14th in the church. SACA Board President John Quaglione welcomed grads, families and guests noting the strong scholastic and moral foundation provided by St. Anselm Catholic Academy and urged the graduates to continue acts of charity, service, and faith while pursuing their future degrees. Principal Kevin Flanagan told the students to “remember the gifts that God blessed you with.” And Msgr. Maloney reminded the students to keep Christ in their lives and know that he will never turn away from them. Keynote Speaker and Alum Alexander Dabagh shared his high school experiences and cautioned the grads to focus on what is real in life.
Congratulations to the graduates, their proud families, and of course the dedicated faculty & staff of SACA.
All the best,
The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
