September 2019 – A New Year at SACA

A New Year At SACA!

During the heat of August, SACA’s dedicated teachers began working to ensure that everything would be ready for the new school year! On Tuesday, September 3rd they returned to spend the morning in Professional Development meetings and the afternoon in their classrooms putting up the finishing touches (door decorations, welcome posters, etc.) to help the children feel right at home as they begin their 2019-2020 academic year.

SACA students were greeted with some pleasant surprises – during the summer the Principal, Mr. Flanagan and custodian Mr. Frankelly transformed the former Kindergarten entrance of the Academy into a child-friendly red and blue Lego Land!  In addition, the Library now has welcoming bright red couches and colorful rugs so children can relax with a good book in a comfortable, warm environment.  What a great way to foster reading!

Please keep our students, parents, teachers, administrators, and staff in your prayers as they all work toward another year of academic excellence. And visit the SACA website (sacany.org) to learn more about the exciting things happening at St. Anselm Catholic Academy.

All the best,

The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
