On September 15th Saint Anselm held its first Sunday Social of the 2019-2020 year. Following the 10 AM Mass, parishioners gathered in McMahon auditorium to enjoy light refreshments and great conversation – and – catch-up with one another on the “happenings” in each other’s lives since the last Sunday Social in May.
Parents and school children of the Academy had the opportunity to chat with Academy Principal Kevin Flanagan and members of the Academy Board and faculty, while the Religious Education teachers, Brother Robert, the students in the Religious Education program, as well as their parents, were able to socialize and get to know each other better.
Everyone had the opportunity to talk about the upcoming year while enjoying a delicious variety of donuts with their coffee, tea or drinks.
To keep up to date on the many wonderful things happening at St. Anselm – go online to: www.stanselmbayridge.org, be placed on the parish email contact list by reaching out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or check the bulletin and the flyers in the church vestibules.
As always, “thank you” to our wonderful Sunday Social volunteers: Barbara, Bob, Lynne, Mary and Tom who made the gathering possible. Our next Sunday Social will be on October 20th following the 10 am Mass. We hope to see you.
All the best,
The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
