St. Anselm parishioners, their families, neighbors and friends came to McMahon Auditorium & Meletia Hall at St. Anselm Catholic Academy on Sunday, December 8th to create festive wreaths, centerpieces and table-top trees to beautify their homes for Christmas. The annual event, which is sponsored by St. Anselm Youth Activities, is popular with people of all ages who come annually to make both lovely decorations and fun memories, all the while happily chatting and working busily on their projects.
There were even beautiful ornaments and bows for sale to add that additional perfect touch! There was coffee, tea and cookies to warm the spirits; a raffle basket containing a 2020 Workshop registration and apron and decorations for next year’s creation; and a contest to guess the number of M&M’s in a jar, as well as a 50/50 raffle.
We thank Workshop Chair, Margaret Johnston, and her cheerful “elves”: Eileen White, Andrew White, Regina McPadden, Michele Soto, Anne Texeira, Pam Pazarecki, Christina Dempsey, Peter Johnston, Peter Johnston, Luke Johnston, Seamus Lavin, Chris Corsi, Brian Taylor, Christine Taylor, members of Boy Scout Troop 13, students from St. Anselm Catholic Academy’s 7th & 8th grade, and girls from Bishop Kearney High School – Alexia, Caitlin, Samantha, and Nicole.
What a wonderful group of volunteers, who make this fun-filled event possible – Thank You.
All the best,
The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
