December 23, 2019 – Decorating the Church for Christmas

On the afternoon of December 23rd, an energetic and dedicated band of parishioners came together to decorate the church for the celebration of the birth of Christ.  The volunteers were greeted with a magnificent array of different sized red, white and salmon Poinsettias in the Rosary Chapel waiting to be unpacked. They quickly got busy watering and then arranging the flowers around the altar and by the beautiful shrines. The lights were placed along the Altar Rail and the Christmas banner was hung.

Friends, old and newly discovered, discussed their Christmas plans while working together to see what else needed to be done to prepare our beautiful church for Christmas.  We thank our Decorating Committee members:  Anne, Bernadette, Bob, Bryan, Catherine, Cono, Daniella, Danielle, Delilah, Donna, Eileen, Elizabeth, Eric, Florence, Kim, Linda, Patrick, Ossie, Quentin & Rosie for their loving commitment. We also thank our generous parishioners for their Christmas Poinsettia donations, which made it all possible.

All the best,
