September 18, 2022 – St. Anselm “Welcome Back” Sunday Social

The September Sunday Social!

Sunday, September 18th was an especially happy day at St. Anselm. The parish welcomed its first Sunday Social since February 2020. And, parishioners happily responded to the invitation to gather in the McMahon Auditorium, not just to enjoy the delicious assortment of donuts, coffee and tea, but, to catch up on much more than just the past few months!

The Sunday marked the beginning of the parish’s CCD classes for children of school age and we thank the parents who bring their children to the program and all the wonderful CCD instructors who volunteer their time in this most important ministry of educating our children in the faith.

Sunday, also gave the parishioners the chance to greet several familiar and much loved individuals: Msgr. Phillips, Fr. Anthony Alimnonu, C.S.Sp, and Deacon Tom Davis, as well as to welcome the newest members of our parish family: Fr. Raynolds Basilious and Fr. Kieran Udeze.

Events like the Sunday Socials require volunteers to set-up, serve, and clean-up and we had a great group:  Marisa Christina D’Alessio, Barbara & Sanjin Fabris, Bob Kassenbrock, Eileen & Peter Loughlin, Linda Naradovy, and Josephine Volpe.  We are grateful for your service and commitment to our parish.

Please contact the Rectory if you would like to share your time and talents for the benefit of the parish.

Our next Sunday Social will be on October 16th following the 10am Mass in the Auditorium – we hope to see you there!

All the best,
The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
