December 4, 2022 – St. Anselm Youth Activities Christmas Workshop

On Sunday, December 4th, St. Anselm parishioners, their families, neighbors, and friends gathered in McMahon Auditorium and Meletia Hall in the Bay Ridge Catholic Academy building to take part in a wonderful St. Anselm tradition – The Christmas Workshop, sponsored annually by St. Anselm Youth Activities.

The gathering enjoyed each other’s company while all the time creating festive wreaths, centerpieces, and tabletop trees to beautify their homes for Christmas. Though many of those who came have been taking part in the event for decades, participants were, as always, of all ages (some needing only a bottle of milk to make them happy).

To make their creations perfect, there were beautiful ornaments and bows for sale to add that special touch to a wreath or centerpiece! And, of course, there were – raffles, Raffles, RAFFLES!!! – especially the ever-popular 50/50 raffle.

“Thank You” to the Workshop Chairs: Michele Soto and Anne Texeira, as well as their army of volunteer elves: Barbara Thomas, John Thomas, Christina Dempsey, Elizabeth Texeira, Jaclyn Texeira, Kiera Thomas, Kate Dean, Meg Dean, Leo Giancola, Savannah Rice, and Samantha Soto – who created a great, fun day for St. Anselm and for the community.

And, “Thank You” Youth Activities for all the wonderful sports activities you offer for the young people of the parish. Visit the Youth Activities page on the parish website to learn more about their many programs.

All the best,

The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
