October 4 – 6, 2024 – Fall Carnival

Our 2024 Fall Carnival took place from October 3rd – 6th and what a time it was, with something for everyone – rides, games, food, drinks and treats galore!  The Carnival, a fundraiser for necessary Church renovations, was a great success. We are grateful to our generous donors: Caffe Café, Charmed by JLM, the Condon Family, Bob Kassenbrock, the Loughlin Family, the McKenna Family, Judy Savarese, the Soto Family, and the Thomas Family. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to add even more to our Church Renovation Fund and we thank you.

For the first time we reached out to businesses asking them to sponsor a banner and the response was wonderful: Flagstar Private Bank, Colgate Maintenance, Ferrantino, Cathy’s Finest Creations, Salty Dog Restaurant & Bar, A. L. C. Italian Grocery, Right at Home, the Clavin Family, Jabour Realty Company, Charmed by JLM, Grandma’s Love, and Third Avenue Auto Corporation.  We thank you all for supporting St. Anselm.

We could never have a Carnival without a large band of dedicated volunteers.  Frankelly Adames, Christina Cafiero, John Cafiero, Jack Condon, James Condon, Shirley Chin, Florence Diaz, Christina Franz, Bob Kassenbrock, Peter Loughlin, Danielle Long, Dan & Jessica McKenna, Linda Naradovy, Michele Soto, Sami Soto, Barbara Thomas, Kiera Thomas, Adam Samakovlis, Judy Savarese, Jo Volpe, and Suzanne Whitaker were on hand to help with set up, ticket sales, and clean up.  Thank you for all your help.

Scout Leader Shirely Chin and Scouts – Amy, Annie, Chloe E., Chloe J., Leanne, Katelyn, Nicko, Samantha, and Sophie from Scout Troop 18G were on hand to help our guests understand the ticket process and height requirements for each ride.  Thank you all for your kindness and goodwill.

We were also blessed to have 2 amazing cheerleaders: Fr. Ray and Msgr. Phillips, who attended the Carnival every day to thank the volunteers and welcome our guests.  Thank you both for helping to create such a friendly, fun environment!  Thanks as well to Chairs Jeanine Condon & Eileen Loughlin for planning and organizing the event.  We thank you both for your dedication to St. Anselm.

Finally, we are grateful to everyone who attended the Carnival or bought a raffle ticket.  We thank you for your continued support for St. Anselm Parish.  None of it could occur without you.

All the best,

The Saint Anselm Publicity Committee
