Meletia Hall was the place to be the afternoon of October 19th, if you wanted to see superheroes and villains, princesses, canines and felines of all kinds, and of course unicorns!
After check-in, children had a chance to pick a pumpkin to decorate, play a variety of games for prizes, visit the Famous Spooky Haunted Maze, and get their faces painted. There was dancing as well and delish pizza and delectable drinks to quench your thirst after all the partying!
Events like the Spooktacular require a tremendous amount of creativity, thought and labor. We are grateful to Chair Christina Cafiero and Master Maze Builder John Cafiero for all their amazing work. Team Cafiero puts an astounding amount of time into planning, organizing, setting up and breaking down the Spooktacular. This year they were assisted by volunteers Cathy Baez, Lindsay Breslin, Jenna & James Caufield, Eileen Loughlin, Goddia Luciano, Jessica Noerling, Liz Northcutt, Melanie Redden, Marla Rooney, and Ed & Sue Volpe.
In addition, there were junior volunteers who helped at the game stations, pumpkin decorating, and the canteen. Thank you to: Abby, Declan, Elena, Frankie, Johanna, James, John, Joseph, Lia, Noah, Ray, Sam, Samuel, Stefan, Steven, & Thomas. Volunteers are the heart of Youth Activities, and your efforts made the 20th Annual St. Anselm Youth Activities Halloween Spooktacular such an amazing time for children and their families. We can’t wait for next year!
All the spooky best,
The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
