On a bright sunny October weekend, St. Anselm Parish held its annual Louise Troisi Winter Clothing Drive. The donated clothing will assist Catholic Charities in keeping the needy warm this winter – and so the response was incredibly warm – with scores of parishioners bringing in bags of new and gently–used clothing to our Rosary Chapel.
We thank our parishioners for their wonderful support. We know that your generosity will be much appreciated by those who will stay warmer during the upcoming cold weather because of your thoughtfulness.
We also thank our dedicated committee chair – Kim Parker, along with our wonderful committee who greeted and thanked each donor as they came with their gifts: Florence & Ossie Diaz, Barbara Fabris, Bob Kassenbrock, Bernadette McLaughlin, and Eileen & Peter Loughlin. – And our pastor, Fr. John Hwang, for his support.
And – “thank you” to John Gonzalez and Gordon from Catholic Charities for their help with the donated items.
