You came bearing gifts with smiles on your faces
to benefit friends from six different places.
Tots, teens, and adults send their thanks to you.
And the St. Anselm Elves are most grateful too! – The Elves
Parishioners chose gift tags over the first 2 weekends in November and returned December 7th & 8th with gifts galore for our Parish Giving Tree! The presents you so carefully chose will enrich the lives of infants, children, teens, and adults assisted by Catholic Charities, NYU (Lutheran) Family Support Center, the Hispanic Counseling Center, Hour Children & St. Anselm families. Finally, donations to Mercy Home will provide special needs adults with very special gifts. Thank you for taking the time to reach out and let the less fortunate know that they are remembered during this busy season. We are most grateful for your generosity, thoughtfulness & goodwill towards others.
We thank Fr. John for his support and for allowing us to transform the Rosary Chapel into the “Giving Tree” for one very memorable weekend and Suzanne Whiteaker who makes sure that every gift and gift card dropped off at the Rectory finds its home! Thanks also to our “Elves” (Florence Diaz, Barbara Fabris, Vasilis Grillas, Bob Kassenbrock, Eileen & Peter Loughlin, Allison Musacchio, Judy Savarese, Mary Schirripa & Joe Williams) for all their help. It could never happen without our volunteers!
All the very merry best,
The St. Anselm Publicity Committee
