On Wednesday evening, May 28, 2025, the Youth Ministry of St. Anselm, St. Andrew the Apostle, and Our Lady of Angels Parishes held its “kick off”, faith-filled first meeting, in Bay Ridge Catholic’s McMahon Auditorium.
More than 40 young people were present to take part in an evening of games, activities, and faith-focused discussion led by Ms. Jessica Bailey, our wonderful Youth Minister for the three parishes.
The evening began with a heart-felt prayer offered by Fr. John Hwang, Pastor of St. Anselm Parish, followed by a quiz about May religious events such as the Ascension; games; activities; meaningful discussion; and an opportunity to offer suggestions for future events. The evening ended with a closing prayer from Fr. John.
We look forward to the upcoming meetings led by Ms. Bailey, to evenings of shared fellowship, fun, food and FAITH for the young people of Our Lady of Angels, St. Andrew the Apostle, and St. Anselm Parishes!
All the best,
The Saint Anselm Publicity Committee
