The Saint Anselm Fall Carnival 2025 opened on Thursday, October 2nd to an enthusiastic crowd of Parishioners, Bay Ridge Catholic parents and students, and our Bay Ridge neighbors. It was four wonderful days of – FUN & GREAT COMPANY!!!
Visitors had the opportunity to enjoy a great selection of rides, for both children and adults; as well as a delicious variety of treats and food. The crowd also had the chance to try their luck on great raffle prizes, as well as the ever poplar 50/50. Congratulations to the lucky winners! Visitors were also able to learn about Hallow, the app that offers the opportunity to grow in the Catholic faith through prayer, scripture, meditation, and music and prayer groups.
A four-day Carnival doesn’t organize itself. It takes a lot of work and planning. And so we say – “Thank you’ to our wonderful Carnival Chairs: Jeanine Condon and Eileen Loughlin, and our volunteers: Danielle Long, Peter Loughlin, Florence Diaz, Fr. Ray, Christina Franz, Jo Volpe, Judy Savarese, Linda Naradovy, Esperanza Ramos, David Di Lillo, Shirley Chin, Bob Kassenbrock, James, John, and the Troop 18G Scouts – Leanne, Katelyn, Amy, Annie, Sophie, and Addison.
“Thank you” to our donors: Madeline, Sheila McGuire, the Condon Family, the Loughlin Family, Judy Savarese, Johnny Hernandez and our banner sponsors: Flagstar Bank, Ferrantino Oil, Colgate Maintenance, Right at Home, the Cafiero Family, A.L.C. Italian Grocery, Cathy’s Finest, the Clavin Family, Bay Ridge Center, Dr. Vincent M. Adamo, the Salty Dog, Charmed by JLM, Grandma’s Love, 3rd Avenue Auto Corporation.
And, ”Thank you” to our priests: Fr. Kevin, Fr. Samy, Fr. Mark, Fr. Ray, and Msgr. Phillips, who came to support our Parish.
The Saint Anselm Fall Carnival came to a close on Sunday evening, October 5th. The calendar said “autumn” but the weather was summer – warm and sunny, just like the crowds who came out to show their support for a fun-filled event and fundraiser for Saint Anselm parish. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!
All the best,
The Saint Anselm Publicity Committee
