On October 10th, St. Anselm’s Young Adults held its second Swing Dance Lesson & Social of 2025. It was a fun evening for the dozens of enthusiastic dancers who came to enjoy an opportunity to learn about traditional social dancing and to enjoy an evening of good company.op
The dancers came from St. Anselm and other Catholic parishes as well as couples who had heard about the evening from family or friends. Admission was by donation, with the collection set aside for a charity.
The night began with a lesson on dancing the Lindy Hop, with Group members Michael Petruso and Gianna Marchisella serving as instructors, and switching partners to show the steps to other dancers. After a break for some snacks the evening continued with more social dancing.

The St. Anselm Young Adults Group meets twice a month on the first and third Thursday evenings at 7PM in the St. Anselm Rectory, engaging in great conversation, scripture reflections, talks by invited speakers and group dinners.
