Faith Formation Update 2022

The goal of our Elementary Religious Education Program is to bring the “Good News” of faith to the Catholic children attending public schools through a catechetical program. This program teaches basic Catholic beliefs, prepares children for the reception of the sacraments and encourages them to practice the Faith at home and in the community.

Class Schedule

September thru June, Grades 1 thru 8.  2022/2023 Calendar

Sacraments

Sacraments may be received only after a minimum of two (2) consecutive years of classes.

Baptism – Students must be baptized before beginning classes. Unbaptized children 8 years old and older prepare in the Rite of Christian Initiation Adapted for Children. This normally is a three-year period of classes. Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist are then received at the Easter Vigil.
